Last month we picked on the Republicans, but we
pride ourselves in our anti-partisanship, so in the
interest of fairness this month’s topic is:
The Top Ten Reasons the Democrats Want
to Re-take Congress

The Top Ten Reasons the Democrats Want
to Re-take Congress
1. If anybody’s going to screw up this country, it should
be us.
2. Because it’s about damn time.
3. So we can appoint a special prosecutor to dog Bush’s
ass the way Starr dogged Clinton. Let’s see how they
like it.
4. Because if we can’t win big this year we might as well
just disband.
5. So we can cut our losses and write off Iraq. Their
civil wars should keep them from being a threat for at
least a decade or so. Sorry, fellas.
6. We’re sick of getting the crappy parking spaces.
7. Because it’ll show everybody that we were right all
along. Even though we were afraid to say so before.
8. It’s about time our government stopped pandering to
big business and got back to pandering to labor and
minorities.
9. Social Security doesn’t need to be privatized--health
care needs to be socialized.
10. Because chicks dig power.
